A book you can play

A book does not have to be only a story or a source of information. It can also provide the framework for a game. Brettspielbücher brings book pages together with rules, choices and shared play.

Read, discover, play

Brettspielbücher.de presents original family games in a book-related format. Its multilingual entry points aim to make the concept accessible to different audiences.

A format with lasting appeal

Books are easy to store, give as gifts and revisit. Bringing elements of a game into that familiar medium creates an unusual space between reading and playing. For a magazine, it invites questions about how instructions, design and imagination work together.
