More Than German and English: How Vompanion Is Prepared for Additional Languages
The Technical Foundation for Future Multilingualism
2026-10-28

Vompanion launches with German and English, but the system is designed from the start to easily integrate additional languages. This preparation works through a special architecture that clearly separates textual content from technical code. Imagine it like a book where only the pages need to be exchanged – not the entire cover. Concretely, this means: All visible texts on the website or in the app are located in translatable files. If the team later wants to add Spanish or French, for example, it is sufficient to expand these files. The actual program code remains unchanged. This saves time and prevents errors.
For users, this opens up perspectives: International users could interact in their native language, while language learners – as hinted in an earlier feature – could receive targeted practice partners. Crucially, this scalability is no coincidence. It results from deliberate planning during development. Thus Vompanion remains flexible without requiring existing features to be adapted for new language versions. Whether and when additional languages will follow is not yet decided. But the technical door for this is already open.
